What does Groupage mean?
Groupage is the optimal use of loading spaces, thus distributing costs over the entire route. By groupage we mean shipments from 1 kg to a maximum weight of 2400 kg and from 1 package to a maximum of 4 pallets. These shipments are suitable for combined transport with various transhipment points within Europe.
Logistics network
Groupage is only possible by working together with partners in a logistics network. The big advantage is that optimal use of loading space is made during transport. This is done by grouping or “loading together”. This is not just a financial benefit. Customers are placing increasingly higher demands on deliveries. For instance, fixed days and/or times are required or shipments must be registered so the recipient is also present. By using transport via our logistics network, there is always a local network partner who delivers the shipment to the recipient, “they speak the regional language”.
